Inspection Rates: 

There are really two costs to a home inspection.

The first cost is the fee you pay today for the home inspector to come in, perform the inspection and create the resulting reports. That’ is what most home buyers have in mind when Googling “cost of home inspection”.

Some unfortunate homeowners end up paying a second cost. This second cost comes down the road and in the form of paying for major repairs … and it is usually much, much more than the initial inspector fees for a proper inspection!

A proper home inspection detects major defects and concerns in the best interest of the home buyer. The cost of a proper home inspection today is well worth it if you discover the warning sign of major defects before it’s too late. Fixing issues always cost more than preventing!

Methods of Payment: CASH or CHEQUE

Post-inspection telephone enquirers on any aspect of our inspections are encouraged.

A commitment & appointment is required prior to commencement of the Inspection. The Home Inspection Contract can be emailed to our office to authorize an inspection ahead of time. Payment however is due upon completion of the home inspection and delivery of the oral and written home inspection report.

Inspections Service Procedures:


1. INTRODUCTION


As a qualified Vancouver Home Inspection company, by ASTTBC, our inspectors are trained to examine your potential new home and identify any problems it might have. Following the inspection, we give you a report describing each system of the house and any repairs may needed of these repairs.


The home inspection is strictly visual; we only report on what we see. We do not use scientific equipment or engineering calculations. We do enter attics and crawl spaces and remove covers which are normally accessible for maintenance.


You may accompany us on the home inspection if you wish, but we ask that you do not follow us up the ladder or on to the roof.
